Sephora wanted to launch an ecommerce gift registry as well as a pilot of its now highly-successful BeautyInsider loyalty program on in-store kiosks in select cities. In 2006, these touchscreeen kiosks were a new tool allowing users to register and receive beauty advice and surprise gifts as part of the program.
My role as a senior creative on the project involved daily collaboration and management of UX, UI, visual design, animation, and photography in the creation of the gift registry experience. I was also highly involved with the visual design and experience of the in-store kiosks.
The BeautyInsider program proved a hit for Sephora, and is now a staple of their global brand.
